About Harmonies for Hope
Harmonies for Hope is a concert that brings the community together, with ticket sale proceeds benefitting local non-profits. As independent gigging musicians in Omaha, the 3 of us are rarely in the same place at the same time for the same gig... But boy when we are together, we sure have fun! Harmonies for Hope was born out of our desire to create a show together, and to give back to our beloved Omaha community in the process.
Each year we recruit some of our favorite local musicians to join us on-stage for an evening of laughter and love, and of course great holiday music. It is a family-friendly concert held at our alma mater Marian High School's Mary Joy and Tal Anderson Performing Arts Center. Show run-time is about 75 minutes.
This year, ticket sales from the concerts on December 3rd and 4th will benefit CUES, an amazing organization that provides quality education to 3 elementary schools in Omaha (Holy Name, Sacred Heart, and All Saints).
Their Mission:
The CUES School System is a bold educational initiative providing centralized leadership and governance to three urban elementary schools in Omaha, NE serving a majority of low-income students and families. We combine innovative instructional methods with comprehensive student and family support in a Catholic faith-based environment to create and sustain excellent and measurable outcomes that not only impact the students we serve but also the entire community. No child is turned away due to inability to pay!
We hope to see you at the show!
