About Harmonies for Hope

Harmonies for Hope is a concert that brings the community together, with ticket sale proceeds benefitting local non-profits.  As independent gigging musicians in Omaha, the 3 of us are rarely in the same place at the same time for the same gig...  But boy when we are together, we sure have fun!  Harmonies for Hope was born out of our desire to create a show together, and to give back to our beloved Omaha community in the process.

Each year we recruit some of our favorite local musicians to join us on-stage for an evening of laughter and love, and of course great holiday music.  It is a family-friendly concert held at our alma mater Marian High School's Mary Joy and Tal Anderson Performing Arts Center.  Check out photos from our previous shows here

We will be accepting beneficiary applications for our 2026 shows starting February 1.  Apply here

Karly Jurgensen Daniel

Karly graduated from Marian High School in 2004 and went on to study jazz piano and songwriting at Berklee College of Music in Boston.  She fulfilled a childhood dream after college by moving to New York City where she worked several odd jobs during the day, and performed at famed music venues at night, including The Bitter End (where Lady Gaga got her start). When she moved back to Omaha in 2011, she received a call to join Grammy Award-winning band Mannheim Steamroller, which she considers one of the greatest musical blessings of her life. With the Steamrollers, Karly has performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the White House, Universal Studios Orlando, on SIRIUS radio, QVC, and the Padora Magical Moments on Ice show alongside American Idol winner David Archuletta. Karly loves to provide music at weddings and private events throughout the year in Omaha. She and her husband, Tony, are in a beautifully chaotic stage of life raising 4 young children.

Natalie Hughes

Natalie (Thomas) Hughes is a Marian graduate known for her soulful voice and fresh, heartfelt renderings. Inspired by her late grandfather - a professional vocalist and member of Opera Omaha - Natalie knew from a young age that she wanted to follow in his footsteps. Under the guidance of Omaha native Heidi Joy, she discovered her confidence and refined her craft.  In 2008, Natalie released her first CD, Songstress, and soon after partnered with some of Omaha’s finest musicians to form eNVy, one of the city’s premier cover bands, which earned back-to-back “Best of Omaha” awards. With her expressive voice and genuine stage presence, Natalie creates a connection that draws audiences into a space where melody and emotion meet to create something truly magical.  When she isn’t performing, Natalie serves in a nursing leadership role at Children’s Nebraska, and she and her husband, Justin, are busy raising their three children and embracing the beautiful chaos of everyday life.
